Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 September 2026 · This is a courtesy translation. In case of doubt, the German version prevails.
Cargo Planner computes in your browser. Your packing lists, dimensions, weights and the finished load plan are processed on your device and stored there — they are not transmitted to us.
There are no cookies, no web analytics, no tracking and no embedded third-party content. Fonts, the PDF reader and the text recognition engine are served from our own server. No account is required, and we do not create one.
This policy covers the Cargo Planner application at cargosnx.com and any
other address under which we serve the same application — currently a preview at
kresinski.de/planer/. Other pages on these domains have their own privacy
policies.
1Controller
The controller within the meaning of Art. 4(7) GDPR is:
a German civil-law partnership represented by its partners Sebastian Brüning and David Kresinski
Felix-Wankel-Strasse 15
53859 Niederkassel
Germany
E-mail: info@snxcloud.de
Phone: +49 228 76387658
Full provider identification: Imprint. No data protection officer has been appointed; the statutory conditions for doing so are not met.
2Visiting the site (server log files)
When you open the page, your browser transmits technically necessary data to our hosting provider's web server, where the following is recorded:
- IP address of the requesting device, shortened or anonymised
- date and time of access
- file requested, volume of data transferred, status code
- referrer URL, browser type and operating system
Purpose: delivering the page, operational security, troubleshooting and defence against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and uninterrupted operation of the service. This data is not combined with other sources and is not used to identify individuals.
Hosting provider: dogado GmbH, Germany. Log files are kept for as long as technically necessary and then deleted. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place.
3What stays in your browser
The application stores data in your browser's local storage
(localStorage and sessionStorage). This data stays on your
device, is not transmitted to our server and cannot be read by us.
| Entry | Content | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
ladeplaner.stand.v1 | packing list, cargo space, computed plan, manual corrections | keep your work across a restart |
ladeplaner.presets.v1 | your own cargo space presets | reuse your own dimensions |
cargo-planner.theme | light or dark | remember your colour choice |
cargo-planner.theme.gewaehlt | marker for an explicit colour choice | distinguish your choice from the system setting |
ladeplaner.support-bewertung.v1 | rating sent or invitation dismissed | avoid asking for a rating again |
ladeplaner:nachgeladen | a marker in session storage | prevent a reload loop after a loading error |
Why there is no consent banner: the legal basis is § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG (the German implementation of the ePrivacy rules). Storage is strictly necessary to provide the service you explicitly requested — a planning application that loses your work when the tab closes does not serve its purpose. None of these entries is used for analytics, cross-site recognition or advertising. Processing of the data they contain is based on Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.
Deleting: use your browser's settings for site data ("clear cookies and site data"). The application then starts with an empty workspace.
4Your packing lists and load plans
In practice, packing lists contain company names, suppliers, contact persons and order or shipment numbers. Where natural persons are named, that is personal data.
This content is processed exclusively in your browser. That includes importing Excel, CSV and PDF files as well as text recognition of scanned PDFs: the recognition engine runs in your browser and the file is not uploaded. The load plan, the printout, the Excel output and the English packing list are likewise produced on your device. We neither receive nor can access this data.
5Sharing a load plan (view link)
"Share" creates a link that the recipient can open in a browser without installing anything.
The complete load plan is inside that link. It is compressed and
encoded into the fragment part of the address — the part after the #.
Browsers do not send that part to a server. We do not store the shared plan, cannot view
it, keep no list of created links and cannot withdraw a link once it has been sent.
Three consequences we want to state plainly:
- Whoever has the link sees the plan. There is no password and no expiry. Treat the link like the attachment it replaces.
- The link appears in browser history — yours and the recipient's — and remains visible in the address bar after opening, including in screenshots.
- The delivery channel is not ours. Once you send the link by e-mail, messenger or ticket system, that service's terms apply.
6Contacting us by e-mail
If you write to us using one of the links in the application — for example the report window for errors, questions and requests, or "let me know" in the pricing section — your own e-mail program opens with a prepared message. You see what it contains before sending and decide yourself whether to send it. The load plan is never attached this way.
We process the data you provide — your sender address, the content of your message and any technical details you include — solely to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures and performance of a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding). Messages are deleted once they are no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.
7No cookies, no tracking, no third-party content
This application sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking tools and creates no usage profiles. No social media buttons, map services, ad networks or third-party font services are embedded.
Every file the application needs — fonts, the PDF reader, text recognition and the 3D rendering — is hosted on our own server. Opening the page therefore creates no connection to Google Fonts, to a content delivery network or to any other third party.
8What is not active yet
The application is prepared for a paid subscription and for an AI-assisted document import. Neither is currently enabled.
- There is no payment processing. A checkout cannot be started here at present, and no payment data is collected.
- The AI import is not connected. The "Read with AI" checkbox cannot be enabled and no document content is transmitted to third parties. Import runs entirely locally.
Before either feature goes live, this policy will be extended with the then-applicable details — including the providers involved, the legal bases and any transfer to third countries. For the AI import, transmission will additionally require explicit confirmation in each individual case.
9Recipients
Apart from our hosting provider, nobody receives data from this application. We do not sell data, do not pass it on for advertising purposes, and there is currently no transfer to a third country outside the EU.
10Retention
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Server log files at the hosting provider | as long as technically necessary, then deleted |
| Data in your browser's local storage | until you delete it |
| Shared view links | not stored by us |
| E-mail correspondence | until the matter is closed, subject to statutory retention obligations |
11Your rights
Within the limits of the law you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20), as well as a right to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR). An informal message to info@snxcloud.de is sufficient.
One limitation we want to disclose: we keep no account and no identifier for using the planner. If you only use the application in your browser, we hold no data we could attribute to you — a request for access would come back empty. What is stored sits in your browser and therefore under your own control.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia, Kavalleriestrasse 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany (ldi.nrw.de).
12No automated decision-making
There is no automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
13Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the application or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies; the date at the top shows its status.
